That’s a subscription to SplitrCreators — a tool for saving and organising video content ideas — both saved from Instagram and TikTok, and written yourself. It bills $9.99 or $19.99 monthly, or $99.90 / $199.90 yearly, depending on plan.
If you started a free trial, the first charge lands 7 days after you signed up — that gap is usually why a charge looks unfamiliar.
Don’t recognise it? Email us before disputing it with your bank — we can look it up and refund it far faster than a chargeback resolves, and you’ll have your money back sooner.
Billing
How do I cancel?
Open Settings and click Manage billing. Cancel there. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for — we don’t cut you off the moment you cancel.
What happens to my ideas if I cancel or downgrade?
Nothing is deleted, ever. Every idea, note, tag and recording stays readable, searchable and exportable on the free plan. You just lose the paid features and can’t save past the free limit until you resubscribe.
How do I switch between Creator and Pro?
Same place — Settings ▸ Manage billing ▸ update your plan. The price difference is prorated, so you’re only charged for what you actually use. Don’t start a second checkout; switching from the billing portal is the right path.
How does the free trial work?
Paid plans start with 7 days free. We take a card at signup so the plan carries on without a gap, but nothing is charged during the trial. We email you three days before the first charge, and Settings always shows the exact date and amount. Cancel before then from Settings ▸ Manage billing and you pay nothing at all. One trial per account.
Can I get a refund?
Ask. Email us and explain what happened — if something didn’t work or you were charged unexpectedly, we’d rather sort it out than argue about it. The 7-day trial exists so this question mostly shouldn’t need asking: you get to find out whether the product is for you before any money moves.
Using it
Why do my Instagram saves have no title or thumbnail?
Instagram’s API doesn’t return them — it gives us the embed and nothing else. TikTok gives us the title, creator and thumbnail; Instagram gives none of it. So Instagram saves arrive named Instagram — <code> with a placeholder tile, and you rename them when you file them. That’s a limit on Meta’s side, not a bug here.
How do I save from my phone?
Settings ▸ Saving from your phone walks you through a one-time iOS Shortcut. After that, saving from TikTok or Instagram is Share ▸ SplitrCreators, and it lands in your Inbox without opening the app. Free on every plan.
Can I get my data out?
Yes — Settings ▸ Export everything gives you the whole library as a JSON file. Available on every plan including free, with no limits.
I forgot my password.
Use the reset link on the sign-in page. The email arrives within a minute or two — check spam if it doesn’t. Resetting signs out every other device, deliberately.
